Had an amazing stay in the double room with a balcony! The views were spectacular, and the bed was super comfy. The breakfast was on point, we went with the Full English both days. Loved the whirlpool bath after hiking.

The extensive breakfast menu provided delicious options.
The entrance to the lounge had an inconveniently high step, making it difficult for anyone with mobility issues. I found the lack of hooks for coats in the chalet frustrating, as we had to drape our jackets awkwardly. Lastly, the limited cooking facilities were a major downside, not allowing for proper meal preparation.

great stay overall but some minor concerns
The cabin offered a unique blend of privacy and charm, allowing us to fully enjoy our time in the countryside. The outside space was particularly delightful, with well-maintained gardens enhancing our stay. Breakfast options were extensive and freshly prepared, ensuring we started our days right. The garden view added a soothing aspect to our mornings, making it a peaceful experience.
The entrance to the lounge had a rather high step, which might be a concern for some guests.

Perfect cozy getaway!
We loved the chill vibe here! The chalet was super spacious, with everything we needed. Caught some laughs at breakfast with David! Also enjoyed the outdoor dining area, soaking up the sun. Just wish there were more hooks for our coats – had to improvise a bit. Can't recommend it enough!

the wood cottage is such a chill place! the chalet we had was super cozy and comfy, with everything we needed to make ourselves at home. huge shoutout to sandra and david for being so welcoming and making sure we had a good breakfast every morning. loved the peaceful garden view, it was perfect for relaxing after our adventures in yorkshire. we'll totally be back for another stay!
honestly, the step into the lounge was a bit high, and we could've used more hooks to hang our coats in the chalet.
